Candidates will be passionate about working with our pupils and will be able to demonstrate a caring attitude to the individual, personal and social needs of this age group.  Excellent communication, literacy, ICT skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential requirements for these key roles. 


We will expect applicants to undertake training to improve their skills in order to carry out the full responsibilities and expectations required.  Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to work with minimum supervision, have a flexible and organised approach to work in order to support learners as well as contributing towards assessment data. 


Our Teaching Assistants are very much an integral part of all teaching and learning so subject knowledge in a range of curriculum areas to GCSE level is essential.
