Required – September 2024 (or earlier if possible)

Working across all Key Stages, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the Design and Technology Department across all disciplines. The work will involve the preparation of teaching aids, prototypes and jigs, preparing materials for use by pupils and working with teachers to ensure a healthy and safe environment in the workshops and teaching rooms. 

Applicants will need to have skills and experience in working with resistant materials and textiles, preferably gained through working in an educational institution. A good understanding of health and safety is also essential. 

The successful applicant will be flexible, helpful, supportive to students and staff and will be able to work as part of a committed team. Experience of using a table saw and laser cutter are essential. Knowledge and experience operating CNC equipment, 3D printing, CAD / CAM and electronics would be desirable.
