The Wandsworth Behaviour and Learning Support Service is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join the very friendly team at Victoria Drive Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) to work with pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health and Moderate Learning Needs.


The focus of the work will be to support primary aged pupils who attend Victoria Drive Pupil Referral Unit because of their Social, Emotional, Mental Health and Learning Needs.


Support for these pupils may take place in small groups or individually with pupils at Victoria Drive or in their local Wandsworth Primary School. 


The prime objectives of this role is to support learning and behaviour in order to ensure that pupils maintain their mainstream placement and also to reduce the number of suspensions.


The staff team at Victoria Drive PRU is long established and highly skilled. From our recent Ofsted Inspection that took place on the 9th March 2023, we were judged OUTSTANDING.
