KS2 SEN Classroom Teacher - Smallwood Primary School & Children’s Centre

Smallwood Primary and Language Unit is a vibrant, creative and ambitious school located in Tooting, London. We are an inclusive school where all children are valued and cared for. We ensure that each child is given the encouragement and commitment they deserve to believe in themselves, always take part, never give up and treat everyone equally.

We are a school moving forward with purpose to continue to improve the quality of teaching and learning with a commitment to raising standards. We have high aspirations for each and every child.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational primary teacher to join our friendly and dedicated team within the Language Unit. Applications are invited from teachers with specialist SEN knowledge and skills in KS2.

We are looking for teachers that are:

• inspirational and highly effective in the classroom;
• passionate about enabling every child to realise their potential;
• able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
• creative in their approach to children's learning
• have effective behavior management
• clear understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning programmes

All shortlisted candidates will be contacted to be informed of the next steps in the process.

The candidates will be positive and enthusiastic in their approach and will seek to provide the opportunity for the children they are working with to realise their full potential, both academically and socially.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed on Monday 19th April at 4.30pm and Tuesday 20th April at 2pm.
